KDC hosts two annual recitals, a Holiday Show in December and Showtime in June, both held at Timber Creek HS. Our dancers also participate in the 6ABC Thanksgiving Parade and perform at various community events and competitions.

Our Philosophy

At Kathy’s Dancenter, we train our dancers in proper technique & conditioning through weekly classes where we encourage practice, positivity & the sheer joy of movement!!

Our dance curriculum is structured for both the recreational and competitive levels, with equal attention to both.

KDC Competition Company dancers audition annually before judges who have extensive dance training and are not affiliated with the studio—this form of judging insures fairness for all who try out.

Multiple classes & rehearsals are a part of the commitment to reach the high standards necessary to compete successfully.

We compete annually in both regional & national level competitions, and have won numerous awards for solos, duos, groups and special choreography. We have 2 national champs at KDC!!!

  • A number of former young dancers contact Miss Kathy to choreograph their wedding dance. Many former students, now adults, bring their children to KDC for dance training!

  • Graded-level classes for beginning movement at age 2 up through the competitive dance level. Private wedding lessons are also available.
