Andrea H. Walk

Andrea fell in love with dance at age 4 while attending her first ballet class. She has studied tap, jazz, lyrical, modern & hiphop at local studios, and participated in dance conventions, master classes & college classes in NJ, PA, NY & MD. Andrea has performed & choreographed numerous venues including recitals, parades, dance competitions, school musicals, theme parks, community events, nursing homes, pageants & college showcases. She choreographed “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” for Burlington City HS and danced annually for Ballet South’s “Nutcracker” production. She has danced in productions of “Coppelia, Guys & Dolls & Man of LaMancha” among others. Andrea’s choreography at several dance competitions has earned high scores & special “Storytelling” & “Emotion” awards. Dance led her to other career pursuits as she is now a practicing Occupational Therapist. Miss Andrea says dance taught her to be disciplined, work hard & appreciate the body & what it is capable of. Fay quote “Think of the magic of the foot, comparatively small, upon which your whole weight rests. It’s a miracle, and dance is the celebration of that miracle” --Martha Graham. This is Miss Andrea’s 13th recital at The Dancenter & she looks forward to seeing all her students’ hard work come alive on stage!!
